Rules

GENERAL GUIDELINES1. Only college/university students are allowed. Multiple entries from one college are allowed.2. It is mandatory to submit a video for online prelims to be eligible for the final competition. Selected participants will be notified on the email ID they registered with.3. All selected participants for the finals are requested to pay a registration fee of:
Rs. 100/- for solo categories
Rs. 150/- for duo categories
Participants failing to do so within the timeframe mentioned shall be considered disqualified.4. Each student must provide a valid college ID.5. In case the student does not have student ID card, they have to bring their valid aadhar card and a written application from their college.6. Participants are not allowed to disclose their college names in any competition. Slots will be given on chit basis.7. For all categories, no explicit language shall be used. For participants performing original composition(s), they should provide us the lyrics before the start of the relevant competition.8. It’s important for participants to adhere to the time limit given in all respective categories. Exceeding the time limit may cause negative marking or disqualification (up to the panel).9. OC holds the right to change any rules at any time with prior information to the participants.10. No doubts which are already answered in the FAQs will be entertained by the team. Hindustani
- Team Size: 1 participant will be screened once.
- Time Limit - 3 Minutes + 1 Minute for setup,
- Participants can sing in any hindustani genre. The song should be in hindi language only. Original compositions would be favoured.
- Participants may have an accompanist. Maximum two accompanist allowed.
- Karaoke tracks are not allowed.
- Judging Scale and Criteria: Pitch, Song choice, Accuracy and ease in execution of Hindustani Alankar, ImprovisationWestern
- Team Size: 1 participant will be screened once.
- Time Limit - 3 Minutes + 1 Minute for setup.
- Participants can sing in any western genre. The song should be in english language only. Original compositions would be favoured.
- Participants may have an accompanist. Maximum two accompanist allowed.
- Karaoke tracks are not allowed.
- Judging Scale and Criteria: Pitch, Vocal technique, Stage presence, Showcase of vocal range and abilities, Overall musicality.

Solo Instrumental
- Team size: 1 participant will be screened at once.
- Time Limit - 3 Minutes + 1 Minute for setup
- No accompanist and backing tracks are allowed.
- You should bring your own instruments, amps, cables and any other thing required.

Rap/ Beatboxers Match
- Team Size: 1 in case of just a rapper or a beatboxer and 2 in case a rapper and beatboxer are performing as a duo.
- Time Limit: Minimum: 1 Minute 30 seconds, Maximum: 3 Minutes
- No 2 rappers or 2 beatboxers can perform together in a team.
- Regardless the team size, rappers and beatboxers will be evaluated separately.
- For rappers: Backing track is allowed.
- For beatboxers: No backing track allowed.
- For rapper beatboxer duo: No backing track allowed.
- RAP Judging Criteria: Sense of rhythm and time, flow, stage presence and personality, originality and cadence.
- BEATBOXERS Judging Criteria: Tempo and rhythm, choice of sounds, stage presence, overall showcase of skills.
